We arrived home just yesterday, so I am loaded with work on my desk but I know this is important for you so I will be brief: On a scale from one to 10, our trip to Istanbul was an 11…!!!! The guide, Zeynep, is very sweet, knowledgeable, punctual, and helpful. Her Spanish is very good and she was always willing to please us. All her suggestions for restaurants and shops were excellent… Really, we truly enjoyed our tour and I know it was in great part, because of all your arrangements. Ana Victoria Herrera, Columbia

Writing from the Athens Airport waiting for our flight to Santorini. Just a short note to send you heartfelt thanks from Debby and myself for having organized such a wonderful trip, with excellent and very professional guides and drivers and very good accommodations and vehicles. The sites were just unique in the world. We truly enjoyed them very much. Be sure that if somebody asks us about recommending a travel agency in Turkey, Credo Tours will be at the top of the list. Thanks again. Juan & Deborah Prawda, USA

The tour provided by Credo Tours was outstanding. Our guide was very knowledgeable and kind and provided us with a great tour. All arrangements met and exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed our talks with Lale and her insight into Istanbul. Thanks for your help. Gary & Wendee Lawson, UT, USA

We are absolutely delighted with our cruise, The M/S Okaliptus and its marvelous crew met all our expectations and more. We would have liked to do more than one short afternoon with sails out but the marvelous weather and gentle breeze did not make that possible. Thank you for your help and good advice. Pierrette Rayle, Montreal, Canada

We enjoyed our lunch with you and were very happy with the services that you provided and your 2 staff. We arrived back yesterday after a long flight from Venice. Our rug was waiting for us! After leaving Istanbul, our ship went to Kusadasi (did Ephesus) then Patmos and back to Turkey in Marmaris, then to Athens via Mykonos and Dubrovnik, Hvar and finally Venice. So we saw plenty and the ship is a great way to do it. Many thanks again and we will certainly contact you if we were have the strength to come back. Feeling that we will recommend your services as Maddo did. We wish you continued success with your business. Tony & Carli Royle, Australia

I am so sorry to be so slow in writing you about our wonderful trip. Credo Tours did an outstanding job of planning and executing our trip. If you ever have a prospect who needs reassuring I hope you will have them contact me. You have high quality Guides, the hotels were excellent and we covered the important goals of the trip. We also found you flexible if we wanted to vary the sights periodically. I appreciated your personal calls to check up on us, especially in light of the so called street demonstrations. They were never as bad as the press made them. I was not anxious to go to Cappadocia, but was very glad we did. The guide there did a very fine job. The day at Gallipoli was a highlight for me, but it would not be for other. If I had to do it over, I would have stayed a second night at the little hotel in Gallipoli. Wonderful place. I loved Troy. To end up at the Four Seasons on the Bosphorus was great finale. I have the highest regards for Credo Tours and for your management. Charles McKittrick Jr., USA

Thank you so much for arranging the tours. We all were very pleased with both guides as they were so very knowledgeable and very likeable. We had a grand time. Tish Brafford, USA

I am not sure I have the writing acumen to properly express how happy Elaine and I were in the planning, support, guidance, choices and flawless execution that you and your team provided us on our recent vacation. From the very start it was obvious I had selected the very best! It never mattered when I emailed you, either you or your absence there was immediate and thoughtful response. Our hotel in Istanbul, the Swissotel was terrific. The staff was great, the location perfect, and the spa remarkable. It was such a bummer that we had such an early flight on our last day and that it made more sense to move closer to airport. As you recall that hotel was not nearly as comfortable, in fact it was dated and dirty, but it did make for a better night’s sleep and easier airport access. The driver in Istanbul is a quiet yet professional man. He was always on time, where he needed to be, and very concerned for our safety and happiness at all times. He was wonderful and clearly takes his job seriously. You know how we feel about our guide in Istanbul. I will not try to spell or recall names, that’s my wife’s specialty, but you know who we are speaking of. She was awesome. She couldn’t have thought us more, been more accommodating, or more personal. We enjoyed our time with her immensely, and plan to reach out to her soon as I would like her to get us some more of the candied nuts, red pistachios and Turkish delight. She is a real gem and you’re lucky if your clients get her. Our time in Cappadocia was great. The driver was terrific. Big handsome driver with a great smile and real desire to please. Elaine and I were not impressed with our guide there. Not sure if he was preoccupied with the unfortunate political climate in Turkey or if that was just his style. Either way it was not nearly as enjoyable. He seemed distant and less interested in going out of his way. He rarely smiled. And did not seem interested in conversing. His knowledge was above average but he was our least favorite guide of the 4 we had on our trip. The Fresco caves and Mansions is a remarkable hotel and the folks there are super nice. We ate at Ziggys and it was superb. We did a hamam and loved it. The flights back thru Istanbul and over to Ephesus was a bore but a necessary and worthwhile effort. The driver in Ephesus was at the different exit, but once he found us all was fine. The Gullu in Sirince is a world class hotel in every way. The staff could not have gone more out of their way for us, from climbing trees and getting us fresh apricots and plums, to cucumbers and tomato. The food was excellent there as well. What a view! The guide in Ephesus was wonderful; I would recommend him to everyone, too bad we did not have more time with him. The driver was spectacular all the way to Marmaris, the farmers market, and getting us to the ferry. He’s a special guy!! The restaurant Tombik in Marmaris was so special. Like eating in a stranger’s kitchen. The food was delicious. All in all our experience with YOU, your staff and your team of guides, hotels, boat rides, restaurant recommendations and flight reservations was above our hopes. You were absolutely a pleasure to work with in every way. I am happy to speak with anyone who wants a referral or information about Credo or Turkey. Feel free to use any or all of my comments in any way you choose. You run a world class operation and deserve success and prosperity. I wish you the best and hope one day that our paths cross. I am forever grateful for your guidance and support. Till we meet again… Daran & Elaine Rubin, NY, USA
